Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme a 45 nm in arrivo

 

Intel ha annunciato che presenterà alla fine di quest’anno un processore quad core a 45 nm dotato di core Yorkfield. Questa cpu di fascia molto alta farà parte della serie Core 2 Extreme e probabilmente funzionerà a 3,3 GHz, con 12 MB di cache L2.
Riguardo all’entry level, la gamma dei Core 2 Duo E4000 accoglierà il modello E4600, dotato di una cache L2 di 2 MB, di un FSB a 800 MHz e frequenza 2,4 GHz.
