Intel Geneseo erede del PCI-Express

Intel ha preannunciato all’IDF di Pechino l’erede del PCI-Express. Il suo nome in codice è Geneseo e costituirà un miglioramento del PCI-Express 2.0. Rispetto al PCI-Express Geneseo avrà una banda passante doppia, un migliore utilizzo della cpu, minori tempi di latenza, tutto questo permetterà di realizzare cpu schede video molto più performnati rispetto alle attuali che utilizzano la specifica PCI-Express.
